I'm cool, just so long as we still have Curry, JK & Pat Spenser (who is untouchable, according to some lacrosse players I know) when all is said and done.
Everyone seems to want to bankrupt the Warriors in a trade for their respective star. I don’t know if this is something specific to Golden State and their recent history OR if every team is faced with the same difficulties BUT they’re not necessarily as vocal about wanting to say “See we are trying to make moves BUT trades are hard”
I do think the dubs with steph is a unique situation.
He's an all time great and what the dubs do to support him is one of the biggest stories in the NBA right now. NBA writers are gonna pound this story as much as they can until steph retires.
[[ I'm in Utah for non-deadline stuff--will pass along that I talked to some Warriors people a little while ago. Didn't seem like anything massive was imminent.
It was NOT Dunleavy, Lacob or anybody in management, though.
Crazy things can happen. Just didn't feel like it tonight. ]]
The salaries can't work for that, can they? Wiggs and Dray by themselves would be a salary match for KD. So who is coming to the Ws in exchange for JK, Podz, TJD, Post, and Moody?
Golden State has been met with an "exorbitant asking price" in exploratory Durant conversations with the Phoenix Suns, The Athletic's Sam Amick, David Aldridge and Anthony Slater reported in a piece published Tuesday.
Per The Athletic article, the Suns are asking for "essentially everything of future value" from the Warriors in exchange for the 15-time NBA All-Star.
76ers beat the Mavs 118-116. Christie had a pretty solid debut as a Mav: 15 points, 5/8 FGs, 4/4 threes, 1/2 FTs, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists in 32 minutes. Kyrie had 34 points, Marshall had 19, Exum had 14, and Klay and Gafford each had 12. Maxey had 33, Embiid had 29, Yabusele had 19, and Edwards had 16.
Yes, it’s very early in the season to be counting that stuff, but… that’s the point. We’re in the race, and just need to get healthy and stack some wins
It's cute how teams in the East act like they have a chance to beat Boston in the playoffs. It's all fun and games in the regular season but IMO none of those teams stand a damn chance in a 7 games series.
I think Cleveland has a chance against them. Tatum is still elite, but Brown and White have regressed, and Holiday seems slightly washed. And Horford is old.
I'm going to wait until the playoffs to see if I can say those guys took a step back. They might be on coasting mode. Reigning champs gets the benefit of the doubt
BREAKING: A 3-team trade is 'on the verge' of being completed which would send Kevin Durant to the Warriors, Jimmy Butler to Phoenix, and Andrew Wiggins to Miami.
Other assets [Picks and players] are being discussed between the 3 teams before finalizing the trade.

Fantastic job, as always. Loved the dual view of the Joy Cam and I think your decision to run the play without stops after diagramming it is useful.
LeBron and JJ jumping in to say that everyone knows what's coming was a true chef's kiss!

KD for Dray, Wiggs & Waters worked on FanSpo. Interesting. Saves 50m in total contract outlays.
Suns want Dray, Wiggs, JK, Podz, TJD, Post, Moody, and 4 FRPs, cuz they’re gonna send us their #30 pick in 2030.
The salaries can't work for that, can they? Wiggs and Dray by themselves would be a salary match for KD. So who is coming to the Ws in exchange for JK, Podz, TJD, Post, and Moody?
I think he was joking
Hell no. They have made so many bad trades. Why should we be the team that butters their bread?

If Suns are asking for something like all of our 1st and 2nd round picks from us in the next 5 years, then Warriors must decline the offer.
Suns trying to dump their newly acquired batch of late, late first round picks on teams for their better picks, prob
All part of the negotiation… which may or may not find a solution
Just do the salary dump trade already and stop preening for Curry
Well if that’s true I know Lacob and MDJ won’t go for it, so no worries.
Bye, KD. Enjoy Utah.
Now that Exum is healthy, the Mavs have Christie, and will be getting Caleb Martin soon, I feel like Klay is the odd man out of the Mavs rotation.
Shhh... not so loud! dinohealth will hear you!
There's nothing certain in life except for death, taxes and Paul George or Joel Embiid missing games

“Pretty solid?” Didn’t see the game, but that’s a stellar line for a 21 year old in his first game with a new team.
And we thought the Mavs were trading for AD. It was Christie all along! 😜
Ws now tied with DAL (or slightly better by winning percentage).
And with a win tomorrow @UTA, coupled with a Suns loss @OKC, we could be the 8 or 9 seed, depending on SAC winning at home against ORL

Cleveland?
Yeah, not putting any stock into that
I'm a firm believer their little backcourt is going to be punished in the playoffs no matter how explosive they are offensively in the regular season
Oh and ive also never looked forward to a trade deadline being done quite like this one.
Max Christie should be the Mavericks starting 2 guard.
Then Klay could be instant offense off the bench... I think I've seen this movie before.
Just pointing out that this deal works under the cap... (ignoring all the potential picks in the deal)
Suns Get: Jimmy Butler, Alec Burcs
Heat Get: Wiggins, Schroder, GP2, Gary Harris, TJD
Magic Get: Hield, Lindy Waters
Warriors Get: Kevin Durant, Kevin Love, Josh Richardson, Pelle Larson.

Trust Me Bro
Yeah
But in this case, it’s your actual, literal bro.
Trying to figure out whose X feed it was from
Jimmy Butler's burner account.
I'm sorry to say but he probably got ballsacked or centel'd
I mean it might happen but it definitely hasn't happened yet lol
