Poole's really getting in a groove lately, despite lousy 3 point shooting last night. 24 pts with 6 assists on three turnovers, not half bad. JFK was spectacular in clutch time, Wiseman and Moody were decent. The whole team except Looney, JFK, and Jerome were positive in +/-.
Has anyone ever seen Theo Maledon play decently? Small sample size, but the games I've seen him play in, he's always been the least interesting player on the floor, and tonight was no exception.
During the game I was focused on all the flashy stuff: the Kuminga steal and the Poole dances with Plumlee. But after watching this recap, it's that rebound through Plumlee, LaMelo, and Dray that stands out as the most impressive thing that Kuminga did - it's just incredible that he managed to get it over all of them.
In other news, the Mavs came back to stun the Knicks in historic fashion. Down 9 with under 25 seconds to go? No problem! Luka sent the game to overtime with a truly bonkers play.
Maybe I enjoyed his crazy reaction after hitting that shot, more than the shot itself. Wacky insane mouth agape laughing dance.
