Wish we would use kuminga as more of a bigman his rookie season and keep things simple for him, let him post down low, iso from the high post, get cut actions and set screens, he could be great as the post man in the split action, instead they keep iso'n him and running PnRs through him.
Seems like a similar list mistake to last year where we were posting wiseman yo and running high post actions for him instead of letting him just be the roll man and spot up on the 3pt line
Layups and 3s used to be an easy predictor of team success. That’s not the case anymore. Why did that relationship disappear? And where is this evolution leading?
The difference between the modern NBA and previous eras isn’t where stars shoot. Instead, it’s that “teams have gotten much smarter about role players not taking bad shots,” the lead analyst says.

Offensive success “always was more tied to your personnel than your types of shots,” the lead analyst says, “but it was easier to overcome your personnel before, and now it’s become more difficult to do that.”
They need to do a better job of finding Kuminga for transition lobs. I’ve noticed 3 or 4 times, he’s asking for it, but his teammates are not even looking for him.
I just want Curry to have one game where he starts off hot, and then the team force feed him Klay style. And he keeps chucking it, no matter what.
Basically, I want Curry to be on fire and shoot like he’s Russell Westbrook in a must-win playoff game. 40+ shot attempts, and at least 25 of those from 3. Or knowing Curry, it would be closer to 30+ 3 attempts.
Let’s see how untouchable Wilt’s 100 point record really is if an on-fire Curry REALLY wanted to chase it down…
Was busy working my way through the game thread and didn't realize the party was here. A 30 point victory is just what the doctor ordered. And Curry did not look like he might have suddenly dropped off a cliff...
If Steph does go for 16+ threes on Wednesday night, how long do you think it will take for the Internet to reboot from basketball fans going into a frenzy?
Wiggins's lack of a killer instinct has been a theme in his career and was on display tonight. We were all jokingly comparing his hot streak to a Klay streak but the vibe was so different. When Klay gets super hot he is racing downcourt to his spot, no matter who the opponent, running around screens and firing it up as soon as he gets any daylight, no mercy. Wiggins looked sheepish like he didn't want to offend the Magic or be an egomanicac or anything.
Dubs smash!! (Sorry Orlando)

Don’t look now, Kelly Oubre Jr is 4th in the NBA in three pointers made, shooting 39.4%.

(Very much appreciate holes in the tax code comment - laughing and crying)

Will be at Chase Wednesday! Totally stoked for the record(s), but I'll take a win and total dominance over Portland.

Steph this season 29.1 pts on .618 ts
Steph career 25.5 pts on .626 ts
Reports of his death appear greatly exaggerated.
Scoring efficiency on the season of some other elite scorers, by way of comparison...
Bradley Beal .512 TS
Damian Lillard .526
Paul George .527
Jayson Tatum .519
Luka Doncic .535
Portland, needing 15 or 16 threes for the all-time record. PLOT TWIST! It's Wiggins who does it!
Remember that nice "bumper car" move Wagner did to seal his man behind him around the FT line and then went in a laid it up?

I know it's G-League but Kuminga has some of that too
Poole with a bad shooting night but 7 rebounds and 7 assists to 1 turnover. Impacting the game when the shot isn't falling>>>
