Just reminiscing about the 2019-20 GSW roster. Remember Ky Bowman, GR3, Alan Smailagic, Omari Spellman, Jacob Evans, Willie Cauley-Stein, Alec Burks, Dragan Bender? Oh my how the tables have turned in the Bay.

What a great season for all of us!!! What moments!!!
The team, top to bottom, executed with precision (while bouncing off some inevitable bumps along the postseason road to glory.) For myself, and probably for those who have long embraced the Warriors, this one does feel different, and of course validates what many of us have (We!) believed for many years, with the core of Steph-Klay-Dray resoundingly bringing another trophy to the Bay!!! And all accolades for that trio notwithstanding, our core group of 15 did all they were asked and more in accomplishing what many said would never, could never happen again. While I might have choice words for some of those folks as I bask in the 'light years' afterglow of 4 titles in eight years, instead I look to the future and smile.
Ownership, management, coaches and players should all be as proud of what they've accomplished as #dubnation is, and even though I'm sure it's been mentioned somewhere in the preceding 795 comments on this thread, I'd also like to welcome the rest of the NBA to the Warriors Invitational...for next season and beyond.
So many emotions! My plane took off right as Boston cut our lead down to 9 at some point in the 3rd, and then when I landed we had clinched it.
It's really so arbitrary that my emotions can be so wrapped up with sports... but last night's championship has really left me feeling... full and content. The upstart warriors (back in the David Lee days) brought me to GSOM and this amazing community... They have been a fixture in my life over the past decade... and it is just so gratifying to see a group of people so dedicated to "doing things the right way." focusing on integrity, community, and effort.
Cerebrally I know win or lose they did not have to prove anything, but with the win now it *really* feels like there's nothing left to prove. Everything is just icing on top now, though of course it would be sooooo delicious to see our core win their 5th ring with an ascendant young core, like a true passing of the torch. And also, I am giddy just thinking about how we'll have the most expensive but overpowered bench in 4 years. LOL. That year, our starters: Poole, Wiggins, Moody, Kuminga, Wiseman. Bench: Steph, Klay, Draymond, Looney, 1 more X factor that we draft.
Smart just admitted it here. They had the athletic advantage but we outclassed them everywhere else. They caught us with our pants down in Game 1 but once we figured them out and got the real Draymond back they had no chance.
Refs mostly did a pretty good job of letting the players settle it instead of turning it into a free throw fest. Both teams got away with some crazy hacks lol
You really nailed it, DDD!

I predict Wiggs will get DPOY consideration next year.

Stephen A Smith could have been preacher in a another life.
BTW - He was one of the handful of media talking heads to pick at start of the season for Dubs to win it all.

Well, he hasn't won a Gold Medal.
And after that?
Well, don't see a Nobel Peace Prize on that mantle.
Honestly, I wouldn't put it past Steph to win both.
Important stat: Steph, Dray, Klay, and Andre now have as many rings as LeBron.
More important stat: They all now have more rings than Patrick McCaw.

Steph ended the series 9 points behind Kobe on the career Finals scoring list, in 12th place.
