Dub Nation HQ wins SF Press Club award for journalistic excellence
Started from the bottom; now we're here!
Speaking for myself and the super awesome content creators here at DNHQ, we can’t say enough about how important the support we have received from the good folks of this community has been.
Last night, DNHQ received recognition in the category of Digital Media: Sports Feature at the prestigious San Francisco Press Club’s 45th Annual Greater Bay Area Journalism Awards. We took home a second place award for an article I wrote along with Thomas “Dr. Tom” Bevilacqua, “‘21 Season Review: Assessing James Wiseman’s rookie campaign”.
I think this piece is a great example of what makes this community so elite: spirited collaboration and boisterous prognostications grounded by understanding of GSW history and NBA data.
And I’m grateful that DNHQ keeps growing up before our very eyes, now to the point that we’re being celebrated by our journalistic peers. Keep it up everybody! We’re making big moves.
Hey, there’s me accepting the award on behalf of the HQ last night!
Congrats!!!
Fun fact: people say congrats because they don't know how to spell congragtulatons.
I’ve been in my Covid fog and missed this. That’s fucking rad!!!! Way to go!
