A pride-healing, fairly-long, chemistry-building, HOME run. Time to get that WIN NUMBER TO DOUBLE DIGITS......

So, Kawhi has missed 7 games ... out of 9.

I'm sorry for Kawhi of course (for one thing, he played at San Diego State, so I count him a virtual San Diegan).

But, hoo boy, the Clippers. If they can only get Kawhi healthy for a 1/3 of the games (and that might be more than they can do), they aren't making it through the playoffs.

The NFL really needs to think of a new way to determine possession when there's a pile of dudes on top of a loose ball. GPS or something, I dunno. Crucial moment in the game and the ref is basically stumped.

Jazz up 63-56 at halftime.

> Klay Thompson on Kuminga becoming part of the rotation: "He's easy to find around the rim and he's a great cutter and has such great size on the defensive end that as long as his effort is there he's going to contribute."

Extremely unsubtle messaging from Klay lol

If anyone wants to relax with Klay and chill about the current losing streak, this interview seems pretty great so far:

Also, according the Kerr, Kuminga is a part of the new rotation.

Donte DiVincenzo (hamstring) practiced today but no live contact. He won’t play Monday against the Kings, targeting a Friday return against Cleveland, per Steve Kerr.

I think Wiseman is clearly an issue for the Warriors, but I think possibly not having another sustainable option at center is another issue for the Warriors (a self-inflicted issue imo). You definitely don't want Draymond playing too much center, I'm pretty convinced that's how he fucked his back up in the first place. Kuminga is a real weapon at center in small doses, but is pretty undersized for it imo, Lamb even moreso. JMG is the likeliest answer on the roster and if he can do it then great, but the results last season in Denver weren't great.

I think unless they think Wiseman will be ready pretty soon (a vision I do not share), they might need to get another center or the bench unit will still have issues, although not as many.

Hey I got a question. I've heard "Young big guys take more time to develop than smaller guys," a million times. I've probably repeated it, nodded sagely, but all of a sudden I'm like .... WHY???

Why would being taller mean that a person takes longer to learn how to play basketball? I mean, it could mean that, but what is the operating logic??? I'm stumped. The time period for a neuron signal firing in the hand to reach the brain and back is longer???

When was the last time we saw this much parity in the league?

The constant Wiseman/Draymond trade speculation is giving me a headache. Trades are more than an asset for an asset. The other team has to want your asset, the return has to be worth unloading such asset. Most assets have families, homes, relationships with other players, etc… Just because something works on paper or in a trade machine and alleviates a temporary frustration toward said asset by removing them, does not mean it should be considered. Players will question signing with an organization that flips players like flapjacks. Relationships will be severed. The Fact that Steph, Klay and Draymond have played their whole careers here is an anomaly these days. Just trading away some young kid who is underperforming is short sighted. We need to look at the whole picture and be patient. We have the best starting 5 in the league. We have young guys who want to improve but need time. Let’s give it to them.

OK, I got it. Ready? Wiseman for Goga Bitadze.

You're asking: Goga who? Indiana center. European team training, hustles, doesn't try to be what he's not. Mixtape: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L1zwbqu8X6A&ab_channel=IndianaPacers

Why would Indiana want Wiseman? They're tanking. Why would we want Goga? He's Zaza 2.0. (Both are Georgian.) He could fit in the system. We might be able to even cheat them out of another spare part at this price, like Chris Duarte or somebody...

No sir, this is just wrong. It's a miscarriage of justice.

My two posts, brilliant and beloved by (nearly) all, were in fact two separate posts. Each with their own lovably independent assortment of hearts. Not, as reproduced in the Comments of the Week, as a single post with a space in between them. I demand a correction. And reparations. And Kyrie to apologize to me!

One of the under-appreciated Wiseman landing spots might be Utah. They are:

1. Winning far too many games.

2. Have some space under the cap to work with. A Wiseman for Vanderbilt + salary dump guy (Bolmaro/NAW) works in the trade machine, but my guess it that Vanderbilt is worth more than Wiseman right now as he is on one of the best contracts in the league for the next 2 years.
