The tanking teams are getting it done early this year. Rockets (do they even have their pick?)Thunder, Pelicants, Magic, & Pistons are all 1 win teams. Only the Pacers are unexpectedly crashing the party (even with Duarte) this early season.
On the flip side the playoff hopefuls who added players to compete this year are starting out strong while the favorites are chilling in the middle.
Regarding Coach Nick of BBallBreakdown, whom we were discussing in some thread I can't find. Not surprisingly, when on camera he sits in his home office with a bunch of basketball memorabilia and photos. Steph, MJ, sure. BUT!!! TIL that he ALSO has, above his Curry poster, a poster of ... wait for it ... yep ... Stanley of The Office, from the infamous basektball game in the warehouse, "dribbling" in his bizarre style. GO COACH NICK!! But this ALSO reminds me that The Ringer did a great deadpan video breakdown of that entire episode as though it's just another basketball game to analyze. EPIC video for those who missed it and like both basketball and The Office: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iH8qgFmiISM&ab_channel=TheRinger
The Dubs have got some really tough teams upcoming facing the Hornets x2 , Hawks, Wolves, Bulls, and Nets. Its going to be really indicative of how good our team is without Klay.
Also my theory on Jordan Poole is that he should keep modeling his physical game on Steph but model his mental game more on Klay. Less sativa, more indica.

Our garbage time -10ish points was disappointing. Hopefully Wiseman’s return will help with that.

Seems like Duarte and Barnes are leading the rookies so far. Duarte leads all scorers. Giddey leads all PGs.
Lakers starting AD at center, which should probably make them quite a bit better.
Also starting our good friends Kent Bazemore and Avery Bradley.
Some brief Moody clips from his GL game.

Couple of heavyweights, Milwaukee vs. Utah in Milwaukee. Who do you got and why?
Coach "I Wish I Was As Good at Breakdowns as Apricot" Nick at BBallBreakdown with an excellent review of how the new rule enforcement is changing play, including some interesting stats: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pZt9JWj25PA&ab_channel=BBALLBREAKDOWN
Interesting article here in The Atlantic about the economic effects of people living longer. How are system was not really built for the current life expectancy rate and that trend is projected to accelerate even further. https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2012/09/live-long-and-pay-for-it-americas-real-long-term-cost-crisis/262247/
To summarize for those who can't go behind they paywall:
The Lakers are so old they're ruining the American economy.
The Dubs have got some really tough teams upcoming facing the Hornets x2 , Hawks, Wolves, Bulls, and Nets. Its going to be really indicative of how good our team is without Klay.
A. What does a ghost say when it's dissatisfied with a basketball team's play?
B. Booooooo
Should have included Draymond's comments about the officiating which were spot on.
Wooooo, first blowout!
