Anybody excited about the possible return of Quinn as backup PG?

@TheWarriorsTalk

Warriors invite free agent guard and former Warrior, Quinn Cook, to a multi-day workout.

Compared to Arcidiacono, Chiozza, or GPII, Quinn brings shooting--a .408 3PT shooter would be a nice option to space the floor for the 2nd unit! But that comes with rougher defense and more turnovers.

I'm guessing the FO thinks we've got enough 2nd unit shooters to prioritize a safer playmaker (Arc) or defender (GP2). They're probably right. If Collison can play like his old self, he'd have it all, but I doubt we'd still be trying out Cook if that's what they'd seen.

Nonetheless, can't help but root for Quinn as providing championship-tenured joy on the bench. Gotta think that would be nice for a team with lots of new vets and rooks. Also will always have a soft spot for QC since we've got the same height (and, uh, bubble butt); ever since 2018, my partner has said I should work out to hit Quinn weight (175) as my goal (nearly there, lol).

News from Bologna, Italy:

- Ekpe Udoh had a season-ending injury

- Virtus signed Ty-shon Alexander. When Nico comes back healthy, his place as backup PG will be occupied. Maybe he will cross back the Atlantic Ocean?

I am really sad for Jeremy Lin, if he didn’t retire, he would certainly have gotten at least a workout invitation. He is exactly the type of player we’re looking for.
