The "triple double without points" is one of my favorite Draymond games, as is the 5x5. But my favorite part where his fingerprints are on the stat sheet is in the other team's points column.

Daniel, the only figure I'm concerned about in Draymond's Tripdubs are the points. Give me a 16 point game from Draymond and I could care less about the boards and assists because those are the automatic stats that make up who Draymond is. He's going to get his no matter what. But those points are extremely important for winning games given the Klay-less Dubs iteration and Looney's meagre point contribution to the starting lineup. This means we win most close games, if there are any. :-)

Not that I don't like a good hate-on-Russell-Westbrook fest, but there's always a correlation to winning and TD's. I don't have the stats handy, but my guess is quite a few of the games Westbrook has had a TD, his teams win too. Almost certainly at a lower level, but my guess is winning % is like 70-75%. Because it means his teammates are also making their shots (or for Dray, that he is being aggressive).

Also Dray had that PHI game during the 73 win season where he learned not to chase the triple doubles.

So it looks like East Coast teams and teams that have travelled to the East Coast to play games over there are having players who are testing positive for Covid. Damn. This pandemic sucks big time.

I’m not wishing Covid on anybody, but the Suns and Utah seem to be immune. And of course the Grizzlies right now…

I think our hardship signing should be that Klay Thompson guy, I've got a good feeling about him.

Anthony Slater

Damion Lee has entered health and safety protocols. Third Warriors player, joining Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins. Lee started in Poole’s place last game and scored 18. All three out vs Memphis tomorrow. So is Andre Iguodala. Knee swelling.

2015 Finals Game 6. That was a fun one. I sat on a big blue beanbag hugging the family and said, “We have to savor this, it might be another 40 years until the next Finals.”

I was incorrect, but the statement is still true.

I love a *good* triple double. The one I probably remember the most though was Steph's first one. I think it was his rookie season, and everyone was pulling so hard for him to get it - even though in the end it came down to a Russ-like rebound it was still awesome.

As far as Dray goes, any time we can find a stat that loves him, I'm all for it. Not nearly enough of his impact shows up in the counting stats.

OT: turns out Austin Rivers doesn't like the Warriors much!

The Lakers played Westbrook, Rondo, and THT together last night for 9 minutes and went -14. They had DeAndre Jordan in as well for two of those minutes and the Lakers were -8 in those two minutes.

I don't think it's possible to compete in the modern NBA with that type of spacing from your PG/SG/SF positions, especially if your center can't shoot as well.

Fuck 2019 is the moral of that story. Also Draymond demands tribute.
