Game Thread: Warriors on their own for the rest of the regular season (probably)
No major setbacks, but the timing leaves the rest of the roster to figure it out
With the Golden State Warriors set to face the Utah Jazz tonight, they’ve at least managed to obtain some certainty in regards to Stephen Curry’s status. The team announced yesterday that the superstar shooter will slowly start returning to on court work next week — but with only 10 days or so left in the regular season, it’s unlikely that Curry plays again during the regular season. Remember that with the play-in tournament, there’s an additional break which pushes the playoff start date out to the 16th.
While this isn’t good news, it’s not bad news either. Everything is progressing and Curry is going to be getting back on the court next week. Here he is casually strolling around practice yesterday — note the absence of walking boot; and no limp! Definitely not ready to play competitive basketball, but the progress is apparent.

Injury update
On the injury front, it looks like the Warriors are loading up for today’s game. Coach Steve Kerr had a quote after the previous game to the effect of it being “automatic” to rest players like Klay Thompson and Andre Iguodala on one of these back-to-back nights.

It’s my kids birthday party, so this will serve as today’s game thread while I fumble my way through making some sort of overly fancy cake she picked out (Lemon Debutante). Wish (me and) the Warriors luck!
We control our destiny. One game lead in loss column to Dallas. 4 very winnable games. But okay with the 4 seed. Would rather put off Memphis as log as possible. Buenos Nachos.
What an incredible sight to see all of pooles hardwork to payoff, you love to see it, theres many people who work hard and never see success because of it
