Watching that last scoring play was hilarious. Three Nets race in transition, following Curry and Podz with the ball. Curry's gesturing for the ball. Everyone knows it's going to Curry, yet Podz hesitates and dishes in such a way that all three defenders come to a pause, and Curry just zooms past them to the basket. I don't know if they were expecting a 3, or if they thought the handoff was gonna be different, or if Podz is just a Curry-screening God, but it's fun as hell to watch.

I have never in all my years seen a team at any level have so many games, almost every game this season come down to the last 2 minutes.

Very difficult to evaluate.

Being positive, I can say they are good enough to beat anybody and have done so mostly short handed and with Wiggins playing terrible and Klay well below his normal level.

On the negative side, I can say they just do not have enough talent, especially length, so when the intensity is highest, they keep getting beat.

I think one huge problem for them is they are no longer an elite 3 point shooting team and have lost that advantage they had when their run began. The league has teams shooting a higher % than Klay as an individual.

Their small ball edge is gone as the league has adapted and also become longer and more athletic.

In addition to that there are teams with great size that punish them around the rim.

In 2022 the stars were aligned and they had incredible good fortune.

A lot of key injuries to their main opponents greatly weakened the playoff pool.

Otto Porter played like prime Porter and Wiggins became something he has not been close to since.

Our old friend Poole also played at a very high level many games and was an explosive scorer.

That is all gone.

The league is soooo much better.

It will take a miracle for them to really contend.

Denver,LA, LA, Minnesota, OKC who should keep getting better as the year goes on, Dallas, etc.

What are the odds that this Warrior team could possibly win 3 playoff series against these teams?

Great win and hope Warriors start building chemistry after this without Green. But still blew a big lead, a hail Mary bank shot by Steph and a missed layup by Bridges won the game against a play-in team in the East. May not pull off a W against top tier teams with this effort.

Reposting because it seems apropos:

That runner by Steph up two with a minute left, shot clock expiring, weaving through three defenders, wrong foot push bank shot.... where does that rank on his all-time shots? Swear to God, that guy.
