Curry doesn't get record (yet), Warriors come away with win
It got weird, but Golden State goes home happy with another W in their pockets
Well, sadly this was not a night for the history books. Needing a hefty 16 three-pointers to set a new all time record, Curry and the Golden State Warriors came out looking discombobulated. Like NBA2K where you know that whoever is on the other side of that controller is just going to spam Curry threes all game - it threw the whole offense out of whack.
But for the record, Curry was definitely going for it.

With the Portland Trail Blazers as short-handed as they were, and the record pretty clearly falling out of reach by halftime, this one was a bit of a snoozer. The Warriors couldn’t put Portland away, but it felt like they were kept at a nice safe arms’ distance as Otto Porter and Jordan Poole covered for Curry’s cold night.
Down in Santa Cruz meanwhile, the Warriors dynasty is quietly building their next generation fleet of war ships.
And here’s some highlight footage of Moody. Though he hasn’t got the early traction the Kuminga has found, I’m really intrigued by both of these guys.
The Warriors will get a couple of days off before Curry gets another crack at the record as the Dubs start their road trip with a visit to his brother, Seth, and the Philadelphia 76ers.
As always, please remember that this is just a quick fresh thread for the community. Dub Nation HQ coverage will resume in the morning.

Thanks for including the footage of Moody going off in the G league. I hope the kid gets a chance at some minutes with the big club eventually. He and Kuminga both ought to get some time in the final third of the season, if not sooner.
Not sure I understand this: https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/32829769/indiana-pacers-toronto-raptors-cancel-practice-protocols-precaution. It isn't clear to me that they have any testing results influencing this decision? If teams start canceling practices on the regular that's going to make things even more challenging than they currently are.
