Read who the players are and it makes me more convinced than ever.. DON’T draft Wiseman. O’Neal worked out...4 or 5 years after he was drafted and for another team. That’s exactly why...draft a wing. Draft Okongwu, Devin Vassell, Josh Green, Haliburton...this drafts all-stars and best players? Are going to taken 7-15.

Pass on both. You can find these guys on the street for way, way cheaper. You can find James Wiseman in the G league. Stop with the James Wiseman. Trade back and take Onkongwu or draft a wing. Stop with these 7’ guys who “run the aloof like a deer”. They said that about every bust. Greg Oden over Garnett, Sam Bowie over Jordan. And that’s WHEN there was a role and market for big men. Don’t draft James Wiseman

C looks quick and skilled but weak (but seems like an earlier era, given that he's been evaluated btw small forward and power forward at 6"11 and 220+ lbs, which is definitely power forward/center territory now). H is long and good rebounder & rim runner, but BBIQ and lateral quickness issues. H has better points and rebounds, but seems like dangerous to go off raw stats without understanding the overall scheme/team they played in. Feel like H probably a safer bet in the old school game, but C would do better in the modern game. Going for C, as a 6"11 guy who has the skill to score inside and out, and whose main issue is lack of strength but is still a decent rim protector seems more valuable. KD and Chris Bosh both super skinny/weak out of high school but didn't stop them from being elite.

I guess I could be a pro talent evaluator since I fell for Kwame Brown. I'm going to pass on both here, player C due to the pretty ordinary stats for a big guy playing in high school and player H because if you are getting beat on defense in high school, it seems unlikely you are going to learn in the NBA.

Wow, these are by far the most negative scouting reports so far in this exercise. I'm going to PASS ON BOTH.

As for which is better, I have very little to go on regarding player C, so it's difficult to predict. But Player H has better scoring numbers, better team results senior year (the junior year note for C is intriguing), and the note that he has hope instincts for following rebounds is promising.

Both players are physically weak and not great shooters, passers, etc. The bit about H jumping at every pump fake sounds like a common but serious problem; C possibly withdrawing from the draft is also worrisome.

That's why I'm passing on both, but I expect H to be the better of the two.

Pass on both. Neither of there skillsets or stats intrigues me which means there is too much left to chance at this point. Whether or not they will develop into better players down the line is beyond me.

Yaaay, I was right about E being a bust!!

Way of topic but what do you guys think of a Myles Turner/TJ Warren for Andrew Wiggins/#2 pick trade? We get defense/shooting in two relatively young but proven players (24 & 26 years old). They would perfectly fit alongside our current core creating a starting lineup with 3 40% shooters and a 3/D big who also provides rim protection.

definitely know who one of these guys is so I won't play....

I guess H based on scoring and rebounding numbers? I hate bad footwork, I think footwork is one of the simplest ways to create open shots and play defense. But I’m going with my new 25 pt minimum for drafting an HS player. Although the Cliff Robinson report should be the trump card and I feel like C should be the pick out of respect.

Going down with the H pick ship though.

Just knowing I could be picking the worst player in this entire experiment is stressful!!

Did you put Cliff in the scouting reports in honor of his passing away this week?

Moral of the story so far is the HS Stats actually don’t lie? If a massive player can’t score 25 points a game and win a title they won’t be good (I didn’t actually take the time to look that up for all the rounds but it just feels that way so far?)

Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I don't like either of these guys...

But seeing how I just completely missed out on the last BTD, I've gotta give something...

Right?

I'll take C. Both these dudes completely lack a jumpshot, but at least C can guard 3-5.
