As usual a collection of pratfalls, but the Kevin Love is pretty rough. That guy needs to be traded somewhere where he can be a productive 6th man on a good team.
New kia MVP ladder out today and it still has Steph at #7, not even worth a writeup and three spots behind Chris Paul of the mighty 16 pts/game. What a joke!
Glad the team took care of business. Was a little worried there a couple times! The Thunder have a lot of guys who just can't quite shoot it well, but they have a couple you need to watch out for and we almost let them back in. Funny that Steph came in to play like 90 seconds in the 4th. His presence more or less sealed it without even putting up a shot attempt because he drew the defense away from Mulder and co.
Memphis losing to Detroit gives us a great opportunity, or perhaps, puts them in danger. They don't have any really tough teams left to face, though a SEGABABA vs Dallas won't be easy. I was expecting them to go 4-2 or 3-3 down the stretch, which is still likely, but if they do worse than that we have a chance to clinch the 8th seed advantage before we play them. Having a chance to rest some guys before the 7/8 play-in game would be huge. And by a similar token, we have lots of ways to prevent them from clinching 8th over us before that game.
Back to this game, once again I really appreciate being able to rely on Wiggins to keep the second unit afloat during the first half of the 2nd quarter. He's really starting to own that role and it's just what the team needs. I'd feel even better if we could have Lee out there too.
Now I'm starting to wonder how easily Ender's playmaking will fit in with Klay Thompson in non-Steph minutes. Add Poole's handle, JTA's hustle, and Looney/Wiseman's rim protection and they could be the kernel of a reliable lineup that doesn't need the Chef to get cookin'.
In wild news, somehow Shaq, Kenny, and Chuck all agreed that Steph is playing the best basketball in the league right now. Shaq started it off with Steph is the best player in the league right now and Kenny and Chuck agreed that he's playing the best.
Oh and the Olympics are not an example of the best in the World gathering without regard to where they are from. It might literally be the worst possible example to back up a best 16 teams irrespective of conference make the playoffs position.
Wow, good team movement tonight. Steph and co saw a weakness in transition D and attacked it hard.
Remember when the Warriors were known for beautiful chaos in the Barnes and Bogut era? Definitely leaning more towards the regular kind nowadays.
Steph still Stephing. Poole doing lots of Steph things except making the shots.
Does Bazemore have a bonus clause on reaching a certain number of fouls? He was bouncy tonight with those fresh legs, and just shoulder charged an OKC player twice to get two crazy first half fouls, while still looking really good otherwise.
Looney just makes winning plays. Is he going to opt in or out?
Mulder is way more accurate with a double digit score gap in either direction. Maybe only play him when the lead or deficit is at least 14?
Miraculous result from a tanking Pistons team. Right now the Warriors can afford to split the Utah/Phoenix back to back and still get the 8 seed if they win all their other games.
Of course, the current version of the team winning either of those games seems tough, so hopefully Memphis also loses to Dallas (and perhaps the Raptors?)

In case you were wondering, here is an explanation on how the draft lottery is conducted (from last year).

Go Warriors!
Wouldn’t be something if the Warriors beat the Lakers to make it to the playoffs!!
Sorry if this has already been discussed, but rumors of a return of JB? I am on board for that. (No Fitz, not that JB).
JTA could be the next captain after Steph and Dray.

GSW v. LAL in the #7-8 play-in round is kinda looking more likely than not after tonight's results.
Lakers seem likely to lose to the Clips. That means they will be tied with the Blazers in the 7 spot, muahahaha.
