Steph had a great chance to fix his season-long shitty plus-minus, and blows it by vomiting up a zillion turnovers … like he’s done all season.

Good thing he can still shoot a little.

So win over Sac doesn't mean that we avoid wildcard?

Expand full comment

It does if Minn loses to OKC.

Expand full comment

Only if we beat them by more than they beat Minnesota.

Expand full comment

Unless they blow em out. Sac has a +29 point diff I think?

Expand full comment

Dubs needs to win by 13 I think

Expand full comment

Well, the Dubs have to win vs. Sac by 25 points. LOL. good luck with that.

Expand full comment

Only by 13, right? Our positive point differential gives them a negative point diff.

Expand full comment

Oh, good point. You're right.

Expand full comment

More likely is a score the other way around

We’re 2-0 against Sac this year, and Draymond’s back. Think a win is fairly likely.

Expand full comment

Yay! Win.

Expand full comment

Well, we won, but holy shit. That win was ugly AF.

Expand full comment

A win is a win is a win.

Expand full comment

Well, if you care about IST, shrinking the lead really hurt

Expand full comment

They're scrapping for wins, so the easy game vs. POR is more important than IST. Of course, Saric, CoJo, and other vet min players probably would've loved the $500k payout.

This right here

Can we find a reason to sit out Draymond and Steph for the rest of the year? They don't deserve to be burdened with this team.

Expand full comment

Calm down. We have lots of quality players and we’ll root for them even if they never get it together

Expand full comment

Dray may find a way to miss a lot of games…

Expand full comment

If you want to waste a year of whatever they have left of their prime, sure

Expand full comment

Part of the reason we’re struggling right now is because Draymond is a hot headed idiot. And I like Draymond!

Expand full comment

And he was a hot-headed idiot with the extremely misguided notion of defending a mid player, therefore proving my earlier point.

Moody needs to be out there

Klay clutch FTs yay

Expand full comment

I almost never criticize Kerr, but I just do not understand Chris Paul (and even Klay) on the floor in late game defensive situations. Makes no sense with Wiggins/Kuminga on the bench.

Expand full comment

I'm guessing part of it is getting good FT shooters in floor

In for free throw shooting (talking about the very end game not before)

Expand full comment

I get that but plenty of chances to go offense defense. And it's been a recurring issue.

Expand full comment

Come on! Is Spurs a good off reb team?

Expand full comment

Genuinely unreal that CP3 has been in for defense the entire time. Can't affect Osman's three because he's too small, can't get the rebound because he's too small.

It's ego management but playing with serious fire because they need this W

I think they'll have a players meeting if they lose this one, judging from what y'all have been writing

Expand full comment

They'll squeak by but if this was any team other than the worst team in the conference it would have been a shattering L

I know what is on game threads stays in game threads… but some of y’all are something else

Foul on 2 better than a 3

Spurs missed a shot, but they get the rebound
